Robbers Hijack Petrol Tanker In Ikire, Kill Driver (Graphic Photos) - Crime

Dare-devil armed robbers in the early hours today reportedly hijacked a petrol tanker with plate number SHA 592 XA Kwara at Asejire area, along Ikire- Ibadan expressway and alkegedly killed the driver of the truck in an attempt to make away with the truck and its content

According to the Public Relations Officer of the Osun State command if the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp NSCDC, Mr. Babawale, the robbery operation happened around 2:30am on Friday.

"The driver had already been killed by the time our armed squad patrol van got to the spot", the source volunteered.

"Immediately they saw the officers and men of the Corps approaching,, they took to their heels.

"The other man who looks like a motor boy was rescued."

"Investigation is on-going on how to apprehend the armed robbers and the Commissioner of Police had been informed while the officers of the Nigerian police had removed the dead body from the scene in the early hours of today", this medium confimed.
