Police Parades Woman Who Partakes In Husband's Killing In Osogbo (See photo)









.The Osun State Police Command on Monday paraded a 39 year old woman, Omotayo Salaudeen who  arranged and also partook in the killing of her husband,  Alhaji Salawudeen Hakeem.

Omotayo was paraded along side her accomplice, Oladapo Dolapo aged 24 who actually stabbed the deceased four times while the wife blocked his breathing with a pillow.


While parading the suspects, the Commissioner of Police, Olafimihan Adeoye said that the lady not only arranged for the death of her husband but also participated actively.


He explained that the case was brought to the station on May 12, 2017 by Engr.  Salawu Adeshina Jimoh who reported that on the same day around midnight, two unknown men entered into his brother's house at No 11, Adeniran street,  Hallelujah estate in Osogbo and stabbed him with knife to death while nothing was carted away from the house.


CP Adeoye said the police swung action after wards and was able to arrest the main suspect, Dolapo who confessed to killing the man with the help of his wife.

Speaking with Amiloaded correspondent, the woman, Omotayo couldn't state the specific reason she killed her husband for, she said she was just angry with him and just decided to do away with him.

Ozak Esu Makes Telegraph’s “Top 50 Women In Engineering” List - Career

Nigerian Dr. Ozak Esu was recently named as one of the Top 50 Women Under 35 in Engineering in the United Kingdom by Telegraph. The list is compiled annually by Telegraph in collaboration with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) with an aim to boost women’s participation in engineering. The 50 awardees were selected from a list of over 500 nominees. Ozak Esu left Nigeria for the UK in 2008 to study an IET accredited B.Eng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Loughborough University. She completed her Ph.D in the same university in 2015, and currently works at a top engineering consultancy company in the UK. She has said that the energy problem in Nigeria is what inspired her to study Electronic and Electrical Engineer at the university. She shared photos of her at the award on her Instagram.
